I find it totally impossible to imagine or understand how and why my name (first and middle names) and photo have been mischievously and maliciously attached to certain viral social media and online posts on Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu, which falsely portray me as their lawyer.
I have no relationship at all with them or with any of them, I have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with their matters, and I never made or issued any statement contained in those posts mentioned above. It is all gross impersonation and identity theft, and should be discountenanced in its entirety.
This disclaimer is without prejudice to my right to pursue all legal remedies, including formal reports to the social media platforms concerned.

Dr. Leesi Ebenezer Mitee is an Associate Professor of Law.
